Here’s how we came up with our first design for SVBS in 2022. We’re excited to bring SVBZERO to life in 2023.

S V B - F L O R

SVB - latin; beneath/under.

Double entendre for beneath the foundation (pronounced “subfloor”) & behind the beauty (flor- latin; flower), representing underlying functional design. 

Hidden Meanings

Ancient Roman architecture used the Latin 23 letter alphabet. “U” didn’t exist, so the Latin “V” pays homage to the Greco-Roman history that influences our design process.

Classics 101

The Romans were revolutionary builders, engineers, and architects. Combined with Greek design and aesthetic, marvels from aqueduct to amphitheater helped to shape the modern world.

Paradigm Shift

We hope to create modern, technical basewear that will change the way we think about traditional clothing, from our hats to our socks.
